Dr. Rowen earned her veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis. Following a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the Ohio State University, she practiced general and emergency medicine and surgery in the Bay Area, California for 12 years. During this time, she pursued advanced training and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist and a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline practice. Following her residency in veterinary ophthalmology at Ophthalmology for Animals in Aptos, CA, and Veterinary Eye Clinic Monterey Bay, CA, Dr. Rowen became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.
