Billie is a veterinary ophthalmologist with special interests in retina and microsurgery. She has a PhD from the University of California Berkeley in retina studies and completed a 4-year residency at Michigan State University where she conducted retinal research with Dr. Simon Petersen-Jones. She is currently an assistant research professor at Michigan State University, and travels for locums in various universities in the US and abroad. Billie has also been trained in ocular pathology as part of her fellowship with the University of Wisconsin. Billie enjoys her spare time with her two boys and partner. Billie is available for public speaking, locum opportunities as well as large OFA clinics during dog shows.
