I graduated from veterinary school at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1987. I finished a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Auburn University in 1988 and then worked in private practice for 2 years. I completed a residency and masters at Colorado State University in 1993. I worked at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for 23 years and then worked at the University of Florida for 7 years. I retired in June of 2023.
