Biography:
Dr. Martinez completed her veterinary degree in 2012 at Tufts University in Massachusetts after pursuing a career as pharmaceutical researcher. She completed her B.S. in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts and she has a master degree in Chemistry from Boston College. Dr. Martinez pursued a surgical and ambulatory internship at Ocala Equine Hospital in Florida, and then moved to Louisiana in 2013 where she worked as a race-track practitioner at Fair Grounds Race Course and Louisiana Downs Race Course. Dr. Martinez completed her residency at Eye Center for Animal in New Orleans. She become a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologist in 2018. After few years working as an associate veterinary ophthalmologist in the Miami area, Dr. Martinez has founded and practices at Happy Pet Eyes.
