Biography:
Ann Cooper was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Haverford College with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2006 and became involved in canine retinal research prior to enrolling in veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from Penn Vet in 2011, she completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. Prior to the start of her specialty training, Dr. Cooper worked on translational retinal progenitor cell therapies for the treatment of Retinitis Pigmentosa in humans. She then went on to complete her residency training in Comparative Ophthalmology at the University of California, Davis from 2015-2019. She is currently working in private practice in San Diego, California.
