Biography:
Dr. Martinez completed her veterinary degree in 2012 at Tufts University in Massachusetts after pursuing a career as pharmaceutical researcher. She completed her B.S. in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts and she has a master degree in Chemistry from Boston College. Dr. Martinez pursued a surgical and ambulatory internship at Ocala Equine Hospital in Florida, and then moved to Louisiana in 2013 where she worked as a race-track practitioner at Fair Grounds Race Course and Louisiana Downs Race Course. Dr. Martinez is currently an ophthalmology resident at the Eye Center for Animals Inc in New Orleans under the supervision of Dr. Paul da Costa.
