Biography:
Dr. Hsu completed three of four years towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology at the University of British Columbia before beginning her studies at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada. Dr. Hsu graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following veterinary school, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Royal Veterinary College in the UK. She then returned to the Ontario Veterinary College in Canada to pursue graduate studies, where her research focused on feline ocular health. Dr. Hsu joined the Eye Care for Animals residency program in Wheeling IL in 2013 and graduated in June 2016. Dr. Hsu became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2016. Dr. Hsu has a special interest in retinal reattachment surgery. Dr. Hsu founded True North Veterinary Eye Care in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 2023.
