Biography:
Born and raised in the Montreal Canada area. Attended University of Guelph and was admitted into Ontario Veterinary College after 1 year University. Graduated in 1989 and went to the University of PEI where I was 1 of the first of 3 Interns in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Worked for 1 year in Halifax, NS Canada in small animal practice also doing most of their emergencies so I could be familiar with a broad range of medicine and not just Ophthalmology. I then did a 3 year Residency n Ophthalmology with Dr. Seth Koch in Washington DC area and became a Diplomate of ACVO in 1996. Started my own Ophthalmology practice in 1996 and have worked on President Bush's dog, Spot as well as given free care to all Government working dogs since 9/11 (TSA,SECRET SERVICE, FT. BELVOIR, QUANTICO GUARD DOGS, DEA,ATF,AMTRAK, POLICE) I also performed entropion correction the Marine mascot dog. Most importantly, in partnership with my husband we have raised 3 wonderful children:Jack (Marine), Nicholas, and Lilianna.
