Dr. Roberts graduated from Colorado State University in 1978 and entered private practice in Great Falls, MT for 3 years. He completed ophthalmology residence training at Colorado State University in 1984 and became a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. From 7/1984-12/1987, Dr. Roberts was on faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine. North Carolina State University. He then joined the faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Colorado State University from 1/1987-12/1998. In Jan of 1999, Dr. Roberts established Animal Eye Center in Fort Collins, CO. In Oct, 2000, Animal Eye Center moved into a newly constructed facility, where the private ophthalmology specialty practice continues to provide ocular care for veterinary patients.
Special interests include corneal disease, ocular surgery, glaucoma management, and consulting with research organizations.
