Dr. Beaumont is a native of Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She completed a one year small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Oklahoma State University in 1999 followed by a one year ophthalmology internship in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. She then moved to California and successfully completed a three year residency in comparative ophthalmology at the University of California in Davis and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2003. She has specialized in veterinary ophthalmology for over 10 years and has practiced in California, Wisconsin, Illinois and Texas. She has authored scientific articles in several veterinary journals.
